Week 1 - Education

Week 1 Education

The first week of Women's Empowerment Month is focused on Education. It is important to understand how we use our Education in furthering ourselves as Women. There are many great institutions of learning that have provided a way for Women to not only succeed in fulfilling our ability to reach our fullest potential. This week will go into different ways High Schools, Colleges & Universities, Trade Schools and Associations help empower Women through education which later provides opportunities from the skills we learn, use and develop.

High Schools

For many young women it is their High School experiences and counselors who guide them into College and University choices and area of study that shapes their career. Find resources on maximizing your potential in high school and finding a calling in the right field for you.

Colleges & Universities

Colleges and Universities provide general and specialized education on a broad range of subjects. By identifying the right educational institution and area of study, women can put themselves in the best position to learn skills that will empower their future careers.

Continuing Education

Education doesn’t stop just because you’ve graduated. Explore continuing education options to improve yourself personally and professionally. Develop your skill set to access new opportunities within your life and career.

Trade Schools

Trade schools offer an excellent opportunity to learn a skilled profession with classroom and on-the-job training. Enter the workforce with not just a job, but a career.
